The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival, is celebrated in Chinese culture. This year, the festival was celebrated on September 10th, and in line with the festivities, Oreo released a limited-edition mooncake product with a packaging system designed by Cowan. The treat came in four flavors: cappuccino, brownie, strawberry jam, and double chocolate. The packaging design keeps Oreo’s recognized blue hue as the primary color, with the logo resting directly at the top center. But, the stunning illustrations make a quick impression, highlighting the festive day, and enjoy the full moon with a side of delicious Oreo-branded mooncakes.
