Target Holiday Beauty & Body Gift Sets Were Inspired By The Enchanting Acts Of Winter Weather

As floral gardens pause for the long nights of winter, frost and ice work in frigid harmony to preserve their colors in time. Inspired by this enchanting phenomenon, Periscope partnered with Target Beauty & Body to create a distinctive line of holiday gift sets appropriately themed The Winter Garden.

Visually, the product packaging evokes winter light refracting through a garden’s frozen flora. For the beauty and cosmetic products, we layered shards of iridescent foil over cool, vivid ombres and introduced prismatic mirror finishes that are crisp and alluring. For the spa and body products, frosted crystal shapes trap tranquil florals in soft color gradients. The lattice shapes of the box windows are complimented by the angularity of other design elements. While the design does not rely on a seasonal brand mark, the intersecting geometry creates a branded look that ties the entire line of product together.

Finally, we added a festive voice to the product line by sprinkling light holiday references throughout the fragrance names and descriptions of gift set items — the final ribbon around a complete holiday gifting package that is alive with winter warmth.
