The Year of the Snake is lending itself to some really admirable packaging designs.
Budweiser’s limited-edition TET 2025 packaging, designed by Cowan, is another fun take on Vietnamese New Year symbolism. The design features a striking blue and gold snake, elegantly coiled in an infinity loop, meant to symbolize unending prosperity and renewal.
The deep red background reinforces themes of luck and wealth without straying from Budweiser’s typical design system, while intricate gold patterns mimic traditional Vietnamese motifs. The typography keeps the classic Budweiser script but still integrates seamlessly into the composition, making the entire packaging feel intentional for the new year’s energy.
