As states across the U.S. legalize the sale and consumption of cannabis, the marketplace is becoming increasingly crowded with businesses seeking ways to attract the attention of consumers. NoWave Distillate & Dispensary located in Rochester, New York, is no different. Established by five lifelong friends in 2014, the business has made a name for itself specializing in cannabis extractions and in-house packaged goods, including gummies, chocolate, confections, beverages, vape, concentrates, pre-rolls, and packaged flower.
A long-time customer of The Paper Tube Co., NoWave came to us once again for a packaging solution for their Off Hours vape cartridges. This time, they added a new detail. In addition to being 100% recyclable and reusable, the tube would also need to meet New York Stateâs latest child safety regulatory requirement without detracting from the design of the tube. The design team was excited about the challenge and set to work. Their goal was to create something that previously didnât existâa child- proof button that was environmentally friendly, plastic, and foam-free.
