  • Design studio The Lads recently refreshed the Arkansas-based rice brand Della, a family-owned and operated brand since 1986.
  • The new brand identity leans into a farm-folksy look that pays homage to Della Rice’s passion and legacy.

When you think of where rice comes from, you’ll likely think of East Asia, and for good reason. However, the United States produces 20 billion pounds of rice annually and is the largest exporter outside Asia and the 5th-largest overall.

Della is an American premium rice brand founded in Brinkley, Arkansas, in 1986. While the company has changed hands since then, Della has remained family-owned and operated, sourcing most of its rice from the Wonder State. Recently, they sought out creative studio The Lads for a brand refresh, just in time for its 40th anniversary.
