Want To Smell Like Soda? There’s a Pepsi Bodywash For That

Published

If you’ve ever wondered if you could smell like Pepsi without having to shower yourself while spraying a shaken-up can all over yourself, wonder no more. Pepsi has teamed up with the cosmetic brand Glamlite for what is both companies’ first foray into body care.

Of course, you won’t smell like pure, unadulterated Pepsi. Instead, the collab comes in the form of a  Pepsi Wild Cherry Bodywash and Vanilla Slushie Bodyscrub. Glamlite founder Giselle Hernandez took to Instagram to announce the collection, saying that they went through over 300 samples to bring the collab to life.

The packaging, meanwhile is standard-issue collab stuff, with Pepsi’s identity being the overwhelming draw here. There’s a plastic bottle and a plastic tub, and it doesn’t get more creative than that. Personally, I’d have opted for a soda can with a screwtop lid for that biodywash, but this is why I’m not making the big bucks. Regardless, it’s another instance of a popular F&B brand stretching into other realms of the CPG world.

Hernandez also stated that they are currently working on a Pepsi-inspired makeup collection.

For now, you’ll just have to be satisfied with a good, thorough Pepsi-washing. The collection launches in early access through TikTok Shop on July 31. Both products will set you back $12 a pop.
