Anaglyph Design is a stereoscopic photography effect that creates three-dimensional images and becomes instantly mind-bogglingly mesmerizing when paired with beer packaging. Designed by 5+8, the Texas Punch beer is drenched in a Texas meets Hawaii aesthetic design, the duality ideal for an Anaglyph splashed can. Because, when summer hits, the only thing better than an ice cold beer is an ice cold beer with a three dimensional design.
Recently, we did this with Texas Punch, the first can, as far as we know, to have an anaglyph design revealing two designs in the same can that consumers can discover using a special filter we created or using old-school 3D glasses. The idea behind it was having two things come together, Texas meets Hawaii while intriguing the shopper to look at it and pick it up.
