Open Brewing Gives Their Beers a High-Brow Gallery Feel with Their New Artist Series

Published

Beer can design has gotten so wild over the past several years that just browsing the beer aisle for a six-pack can almost feel like perusing an art exhibit. It’s made beer arguably one of the most exciting verticals for design lovers to watch, but as a beer consumer it can feel a bit, well, overstimulating to sift through in the heat of the moment. In their new series of artist-designed cans, the team at Open Brewing proves beer design can find the perfect balance between striking and grounded. Their first round includes intricate, clever illustrations Meryl Smith, Joe Roberts, and Katsu Sawada, perfect for pondering during an idle happy hour.
