Drop On The Deck and Flop Like A Fish: Lush & SpongeBob Bring Nautical Nonsense To Bath Time

Published

Even if you’ve never seen an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants, you’re probably familiar with the Nickelodeon animated series that first debuted in 1999 and has become a cultural staple ever since. The show has inspired countless memes on the internet, has lent its name to a recently-discovered mushroom, and even gets a shoutout in the gritty HBO crime drama The Wire.

Beauty brand Lush has now partnered with SpongeBob SquarePants for a new limited-edition collection based on the show. The new range of products includes a SpongeBob soap bar and bath bomb, a Patrick bath bomb, a Squidward bubble bar, a body balm in the shape of SpongeBob’s pineapple home, a multipiece Krabby Patty bath gift set, and show-themed muslin cloths. Like many of Lush’s products, the Spongebob SquarePants collection is plastic-and-package-free.
