Urban Sophistication's Sneaker-Inspired Phone Cases Come In Mini Shoeboxes

While sneakers were initially conceived with athletic endeavors in mind, it didn’t take long for sporty footwear to become fashion items with an aesthetic of its own and an army of dedicated sneakerheads.
Lifestyle brand Urban Sophistication’s latest project reinterprets sneakers and celebrates the culture surrounding them with the Kick Case phone accessory. The cases themselves feature chunky rubber contours and shapes reminiscent of athletic shoes. The Kick Case logo combines the Urban Sophistication of two happy stick people representing the brother-sister founder duo and a sneaker-brand-inspired wordmark in a confident font with trailing triangles coming off the “K.” In the middle, “ase” sits nestled in the middle of “Kick” to spell out “Case,” a clever touch.
Fully embracing the sneaker influence, the Kick Case’s packaging is a miniature version of a conventional shoebox. The cases are wrapped in paper like a pair of Nike or Adidas kicks, while the shoeboxes are made of durable, corrugated cardboard. The raw cardboard with the single black printing even gives the Kick Cases an old-school vibe and a playful touch to the product concept.
