Tanica is an Australian aperitif that uses native plum and strawberry gum leaf, bringing distinctly local ingredients to a delicious drink. Design agency Soft Machine gives that idea a fresh identity with a custom glass bottle whose rounded shoulders and vertical ridges make the ruby-red liquid look especially juicy.
The powder-blue cap and matching label add a seaside touch, while chunky, softly curved lettering, simple black type, and a tiny yellow flavor strip keep everything cheerful and easy to recognize. The label shows no botanical illustrations or obvious Australian symbols, capturing the relaxed spirit of Sydney’s spritz culture through shape and color rather than clichés. Tanica makes a convincing case for letting the bottle itself bring the personality.
