McCormick brand French’s is known for its classic condiments, sauces, and inventive, unexpected collaborations, like combining mustard with beer, doughnuts, and, of course, ice cream.

The latest from the mad lads and ladies at French’s combines ketchup with a summertime classic, cotton candy. Teaming up with Canadian confectionery company Treats for Us, the two brands have concocted an airy, sweet, and savory treat that promises an unexpected delight to adventurous snackers in select Canadian locations.

The Ketchup Cotton Candy tubs feature delightful, nostalgic packaging with a red and white color palette reminiscent of state fairs and carnivals. The design replaces the second “O” in “COTTON” with a red tomato topped with a star-shaped stem.

“I started Treats for Us to offer Canadians custom, locally-made concession favorites," said Treats for Us founder Laurens Gerlings in a press release. “So, when French's suggested partnering to create something never done before, combining the taste of Canada—French's Ketchup—with the nostalgic flavor of summer—cotton candy—I was in. We've created the soon-to-be iconic French's Ketchup Cotton Candy.”

Ketchup Cotton Candy will be available June 27-28th at select locations in Ontario and British Columbia. Additionally, for every Ketchup Cotton Candy given out, two meals will get donated to Food Banks Canada.

The French’s and Treats for Us ketchup candy follows last summer’s “Frenchsicle” collab with Happy Pops.
