The protein popsicle brand Pola Pops is the brainchild of four women of Colombian heritage, who set out to make something new to the freezer section–in flavor, function, look, and feel. Miami-based founders Juliana Velez and Stephanie Fajardo came up with the idea of protein popsicles independently and saw it as kismet. 

“Juli and I had been close friends for years when, on a sunny Miami afternoon, we realized we had both been thinking about the exact same idea: protein popsicles,” says Fajardo. It all felt too specific to be a coincidence, so they took it as a sign and decided to join forces right then and there to create the functional frozen treat they couldn’t find on the market. “Inspired by our Colombian roots, childhood nostalgia, and a belief that wellness should never come at the expense of flavor, Pola Pops was born.”
