One of the five trends in packaging identified by The Dieline back in January was sustainability. CLEAN THE OCEAN, a biodegradable household cleaner, perfectly addresses this trend by avoiding plastic waste and by helping to remove waste from beaches and oceans.

KOREFE added uniqueness to the product by creating a packaging that is unique and eco-friendly. Made with porcelain, rather than plastic, the containers can be used as vases when empty. Also, CLEAN OCEAN PROJECT “is the only household cleaner that also cleans beaches and oceans”, with a large amount of revenue going to the CLEAN OCEAN PROJECT – an organization that removes plastic waste from the coastlines and the sea.

In colours that reflect the marine ecosystem – coral, blue, seaweed and turquoise- this is an example of how packaging can elevate the status of a product and do good things for the Earth too.
