Art Deco Meets An Elevated Jungle Aesthetic For Botanist Jungle’s Rebrand

Long before dispensaries, hybridization, or celebrity drops, cannabis grew untamed across the planet. Its roots thrived beneath jungle canopies, shaped by tropical rains, equatorial sun, and human hands. With their latest flower packaging, Botanist invites the consumer to rediscover this legacy as a global story worth honoring.

Drawing on cannabis’s geographic lineage, this new look honors the regions where original landrace strains have emerged: South America, Thailand, and Central Africa. A distinct animal anchors each strain category: the peacock for Hybrids, the pit viper for Indicas, and the leopard for Sativa strains. Behind them, lush layers of monstera leaves, strelitzia, plantain, and spathiphyllum blossoms add floral context to the native fauna.

The original packaging was functional but lacked emotional connection and visual depth. Now, Art Deco meets an elevated jungle aesthetic, layered with geometric patterning and hand-drawn illustrations. Gold-foil accents and a deep, jewel-toned palette bring texture and elegance to the everyday mylar bag. It feels storied without being nostalgic. Wild, yet intentional.

This change now aligns the visual identity with the ethos: honoring the plant’s past while cultivating for the future. Each Botanist grow facility is designed to mimic a natural ecosystem, engineered by hands that are passionate about the plant’s journey into yours. In a crowded retail space, this sets a new standard for cannabis design, rooted in respect for its rich history through time.
