- Beyoncé has ruffled some feathers in her fanbase after announcing the sale of a limited edition box to hold her vinyls that’s going for over $1K after tax and shipping on her website
- The “beykeepers collector’s box” is inspired by “the beauty of traditional beekeeper crates,” though the price tag doesn’t match that humble influence
“To the left, to the left, everything you own in the box to the left,” Beyoncé once famously cooed to open her 2006 hit song “Irreplaceable” from her album B’Day. Now, two full decades later, Beyoncé is inserting herself into the box discourse once again, but this time for all the wrong reasons.
On September 4th, in honor of the pop star’s 45th birthday and the 20th anniversary of that very B’Day album, Queen Bey announced that she’s selling an empty box on her website for $1K.
