Every year The Dieline Awards brings us the best in packaging design, and this year was no exception. With 1400 entries in total this year, choosing just three winners in every category was not an easy feat —so we decided to give a few shoutouts to The Dieline Awards 2018 Merit Winners. We were hired to create a new identity and profile for Toten Eggpakkeri, a small distributor of free range eggs produced by family run farms in eastern Norway, four of which have been adapted to organic production. Chickens are fed on the distributor's special blend of natural feed for flavourful yellow eggs.

We always believed that Generative Design and wine packaging were well suited. The designs are the most detailed expression of “wine as a living thing”.

The packaging is not only conceptually unique in that it visually represents the indigenous data of each Preece wine, but each label is one-of-a-kind and non-repeatable, a first for packaging of this kind in the world.

This Chinese white spirit product is named HeGan, meaning that “no matter what is happening outside, it’s none of my business”. The meaning is quite abstract under the Chinese context.
