There’s been a rise in cult brands partnering. Just take Heinz and Absolute Vodka, releasing a vodka sauce. On top of the trend, Victor Martens released a conceptual collaboration for Nike and Ikea, rightfully dubbed “Nikea” with a tagline reading “Jüst do it yourself.”
The conceptual collaboration includes “Nike Dünks” in Ikea’s quickly identifiable yellow and blue hues. The shoe’s packaging system is a kraft box, with the collaborative logo on top and the blue and yellow color circling the outer rim. The design beautifully blends both of the brand’s quintessential design elements to reflect each brand individually.
