Sistine Spritz’s packaging design, crafted by David Bate, Melia Tandiono, and Black Ink Projects, is modern minimalism to its core, with the wax seal right in the middle of the bottle, acting as an unconventional yet striking branding element. The wax seal breaks tradition by skipping ornate designs, instead featuring small, clean typeset numbers to indicate the flavor. The electric blue hue of the seal creates a vivid contrast against the vibrant red of the spritz, making the packaging pop.
Typography is another highlight, with a custom logo inspired by classic Italian signage, giving the overall design a bold, structured look balanced with a timeless, elegant touch. The overall design allows the product to shine while using subtle, deliberate type treatments to emphasize simplicity and refinement. The result is a bottle that screams elegance, while maintaining a fun appeal that spitz’s absolutely should have. It’s refined, but with an approachable edge.
