Pura, a home fragrance brand, has announced a new collection in partnership with the Malala Fund, featuring scents inspired by the courage of girls pursuing their right to an education and by the fund’s work in Brazil, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Tanzania.
After writing an anonymous blog for the BBC detailing her life under Taliban rule, Malala Yousafzai was attacked on her way to school. After recovering from a bullet wound to the head in the UK, she and her father, along with entrepreneur Shiza Shalid, started the Malala Fund to further and enable girls’ education globally. For her advocacy efforts, Yousafzai was co-awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, becoming the youngest recipient at age 17.
