In fact, the entire bottle is covered in textures reminiscent of the deep sea, and to allow the surface to pop and take reign, the hanging label makes more sense than one wrapped about the whole bottle. Genuinely original, In Mare is a wine with packaging, unlike anything we’ve seen before.

“In Mare” is the first Douro white wine aged in the ocean, near Sines, Portugal. The wine is from the Demarcated region pf Douro, Portugal, produced by Quinta Ferreira de Baixo, owned by the Georgina Tomé and Luis Verdelho, under the oenological supervision of Francisco Gonçalves. The brief was to represent both the sea freshness and deepness in a joyful yet classic packaging. The process of aging under the sea, leaves this remarkable sealife on the bottle, therefore the wine has a hanging label
