In their own words, tech giant Google’s mission is to “organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.” While products like search and email seem obvious ends to that mission, typography plays a significant role as well.
Servers and programming code are certainly behind Google’s effort, but most of the information the tech giant organizes is served in text form, so, unsurprisingly, it puts a lot of effort into typography design to succeed in its mission, given the millions of users who interact with its ecosystem via their computers and smartphones.
