I love when my editor hands over the keys to the Friday Wrap-Up. As a Gen Z with a Leo-rising placement, there’s a special place in my heart for a platform allowing me to share my interests, niche obsessions, and pop culture insights.

With that, I’m gearing my top five towards something near and dear to my heart—Gen Z trends.

If I just lost you, hear me out, even if you’re a geriatric millennial. Consider the antics of the youth—they (I) after all, are (am) your future. So even if you feel far, far removed from the world of TikTok and aren’t even aware that “brick” is an adjective, expand your mind, honor the youth, and, if nothing else, impress your kids at your next family dinner. And if you really want to impress them, whip out the acronym IJBOL and they might just be too stunned to speak.
