- Day and Night’s jam labels by Zukerman Studio turn each flavor name into a full typographic declaration, making it the most distinctive thing on the preserves shelf.
- With a color palette that shifts from terracotta to deep charcoal and a zine-like typographic mix, this small batch jam proves words alone can be the most joyful design choice of all.
With small batch makers and independent producers finally getting the design attention they deserve, it is nice to see a jam label that treats typography as its entire visual world and pulls it off with complete conviction.
Day&Night, designed by Zukerman Studio for independent jam maker Gabi Osem, fills every label edge-to-edge with a stacked typographic composition. The typeface mixes weights and scales, without ever losing its visual confidence. The color system differentiates flavors, moving from a warm terracotta orange for the orange’s jam to a deep charcoal black for strawberries, a dusty sky blue for berries, and a rich golden amber for pears.
