According to a study by the American Veterinary Medical Association, even on a mild 70°F day, the inside of a vehicle can reach 89°F in just ten minutes. In an hour, the inside of a car can rise by 40-degrees, which can miserable for humans, but lethal for children, dogs, and other pets.
