Banff Whisky Bottles the Spirit of the Mountains

  • Banff Whisky by Glasfurd & Walker features a custom flask-meets-decanter bottle with vertical fluting and an architectural cap inspired by mountain cabins.
  • A bold pine green and vibrant orange palette referencing Banff National Park creates a regionally rooted, premium whisky brand identity.

Some spirit bottles invite you into a landscape, and with Banff Whisky, Glasfurd & Walker have crafted a design that captures the spirit of mountain life and translates it into a whisky. The custom glass form feels special in itself, part flask and part decanter, with vertical fluting that catches the light while remaining familiar to traditional whisky silhouettes.

The color story is clearly tied to Banff National Park, pairing pine green with a vibrant orange that looks like ranger jackets, creating a strong contrast against the warmth of the spirit within. The cap design takes inspiration from cabin architecture, adding layers of regional storytelling.

This is the kind of bottle that feels special when you first see it, but keeps you engaged the longer you look.

Park Distillery introduces Park Banff Whisky, a premium Canadian rye shaped by mountain life and crafted inside Banff National Park. This release marks a new chapter for Canadian whisky, uniting the heritage of the category with a fresh, confident point of view and a bottle design that feels unmistakably modern and distinctly Canadian.

Around the world, Canadian rye is admired for clarity, balance, and approachability. It is known for its smooth grain character, its clean freshwater sources, and a distilling culture rooted in finesse rather than force. It has always lived at the intersection of craft and nature.

What has been missing is a modern craft expression that brings all of this to life at its highest level. The best rye in the world. The cleanest glacial water. The character of the provinces that grow the grain. The spirit of the region itself.

Park Distillery saw the moment to create a whisky that could stand as a contemporary Canadian icon. Park Banff Whisky is the only whisky distilled inside a national park. Every element reflects the Banff way of life – shaped by mountain air, cold climates, and the clarity that defines Alberta’s landscape.

A Bottle Designed to Become an Icon:

The bottle was custom designed as a modern classic. A functional decanter with a silhouette that nods to traditional whisky forms while feeling fresh and refined. Half flask, half decanter with detailed fluting for a premium look the shape is unique yet nostalgic.

The cap design draws from the architecture and culture of Canada’s national park – inspired by the spruce cabins that define the region. The mix of silver and brass metals echoes the horse and cowgirl culture that runs deep in Alberta. The overall form balances rustic influence with a polished, contemporary sensibility.

The label takes its cues from the distinctive colours of the national park. The deep green of the pines. The bright orange of ranger jackets and kayaks on glacier lakes. A palette that feels rooted in place, instantly recognizable, and unmistakably Banff.
