Japanese forest bath therapy and architecture inspired Sonia Flores, Lucía Pascal, Ingrid Lopes, and Laura Hernández’s packaging design for the beauty brand UP_RIGHT. The stunning use of materials, shapes, color, and typography work seamlessly together to create a design that feels highly fresh and organic. UP_RIGHT’s packaging design system is truly a wonderful take on contemporary design fused with a biological and natural interpretation.

Shinrin-Yoku BY UP_RIGHT is a cosmetic line based on the Japanese “forest bath” therapy. It focuses on balancing stress levels by taking a moment of peace and calm. This range aims to transport the user to that moment, emphasizing the importance of peace of mind and finding a moment for yourself. Getting away from the noise of the city and taking care of yourself through botanical extracts —without leaving biotechnology aside— are the pillars of UP_RIGHT. On the other hand, the packaging is inspired by Japanese architecture, both in terms of materials, shapes and graphics. It fuses wood with metallized plastic to maintain its values through its aesthetics. In addition, it is designed to be refilled as many times as you want and to achieve the necessary sustainability.
