This packaging design for D’Italia’s handmade pasta series features three classic Italian pastas: conchiglioni, farfalle, and fusilli.

Both the outer box and individual packaging adopt a cuboid structure, ensuring cost-efficient transportation and stacking. The graphic design concept integrates 3D structural elements to create a visual narrative of three master pasta makers working on the second floor of a pasta factory, handcrafting fresh pasta for a restaurant on the first floor. The factory walls are illustrated as transparent windows, emphasizing cleanliness and hygiene, allowing consumers to observe the pasta-making process.

Each of the three individual boxes has die-cut openings in different pasta shapes, making it easy to distinguish between the three pasta varieties when retrieving them. The bottom of each box features a push-and-lock mechanism, allowing the opening to tilt up to 45 degrees for controlled pouring. Additionally, the visual design of the inner box mimics a woven wicker basket, complementing the illustrated pasta-making machines on the outer packaging. This combination enhances the freshly made feel and creates an interactive, engaging experience for consumers.
