Diageo’s Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare

Published

Owned by Diageo, Johnnie Walker is a Scotch whisky that John Walker established. Recently, Johnnie Walker released the 4th Blue Label Ghost & Rare that is utterly rare. The term “ghost whisky” refers to whiskies from “ghost” distilleries that have been long closed, making them incredibly favored. The bottle and box it comes in are a rich dark blue with gold details. The fleeting light found on the box is lively and spirited, perfect for the ghost-inspired Scottish whisky.

Our designs for the 4th release of Diageo’s Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare centre around the fleeting “will o the wisp” lights seen by travellers at night.A fitting symbol for a blend that draws on casks from the short lived and rarely seen Speyside “ghost” distillery of Pittyvaich. The bottle design wraps a direct printed map of Scotland around the bottle. Pinpointing the location of the Pittyvaich and other other distilleries that create this extremely rare release.
