The Boston Beer Company is a brewery primarily known for bringing Samuel Adams to life. But they also have several other non-suds brands like Twisted Tea, Truly hard seltzers, and Angry Orchard hard ciders.
Recently, they announced plans for a new Ready-to-Drink (RTD) product pilot called Loma Vista. The new RTD is a tequila-based carbonated cocktail that will launch soon in Austin, Fort Collins, Kansas City, and Wichita this month.
Boston Beer Company’s newest tequila seltzer is inspired by the colorful, west-Texan sunsets as experienced on the highest peak of a family ranch called Loma Vista. The RTD debuts with two flavors, Lime and Mango, and the 12oz cans are painted in the purples and oranges seen atop Loma Vista as the bright sun descends behind the mountains at the horizon’s edge. A small band along the top of the cans indicates the flavor, a bright green for lime and an orange-yellow for mango. Typography selection strengthens the West Texas ranch theme, and a small agave graphic reinforces the tequila-based recipe of the Loma Vista RTDs.
