The Cellar Jams Is A Beer In Disguise

Polkadot Design was contracted by Cellar Jams to put together a brand identity and bottling design as unique and shocking as the flavors that define their adult beverages. Taking inspiration and notes from traditional liquor brands, the ale and stout bottles are mirrored after such liquor bottles with their wax sealed caps. Swapping an elegant type font and simple description for a sketch of a wolf in a sheep’s skin, however, Cellar Jams does not hesitate to be bold with their details.


Strange Brew puts together Beer, Oak and the time it takes to create two extraordinary Barrel Aged beers in limited numbers. Both wild and strange in nature, the Cellar Jams challenged us to create a label inspired by old fashioned liquor bottles, paired with contemporary and fresh elements.


These two beers prove to be the true predators amongst the flock. Mind the wolves under a sheep's clothing, for their ravenous appetite cannot be sated. Going wild is only the beginning…
