Magical Forest McDonalds Happier Meal Created by Student Regina Lim

Happy meal toys from fast food restaurants are notoriously wasteful and destructive to the environment. So student designer Regina Lim was given a conceptual brief that asked her to design a happy meal package that uses sustainable materials, reduces the use of plastic, yet maintains the functionality of the original packaging. Furthermore, the toy had to be sustainable, and it needed to teach children about the environment.

Regina created a beautifully cohesive, sustainable bundle that will indeed unlock children's imaginations. Through infographics and AR elements on the underside of the packaging, the meal interactive and the paper used for the box can create origami toys. Furthermore, the bright and vivid colors used to create the illustrations are enchanting and effervescent. If Regina didn't receive an A+ on this assignment, we'd be shocked.
