The type-forward design doesn’t even remotely resemble anything for a brand that caters to skaters—and yet, it absolutely does. The turn-back-the-clock container looks like industrial packaging from a bygone era, and there is something old-world and charming about the branding that might appeal to those Spicoli-sporting youths. Also, maybe it’s because I’ve grown up in the vicinity of numerous Greek diners and restaurants, but it even bears a close resemblance to some of the signage from those establishments (and not just because the company is called Olympia).
