- Muracha’s tin canister helps position matcha as a daily moment of zen
- Created in partnership with Robertson & Co., the tin design reflects Muracha’s commitment to craft and quiet luxury
The matcha moment that took trendy cafes by storm a few years ago has proven to have real lasting power.
More than a fleeting trend, matcha is here to stay, thanks in large part to brands like the at-home matcha supplier Muracha. The sister-owned company prides itself on sourcing first-harvest matcha directly from Japan and providing customers with the utmost transparency about exactly where each release has come from, right down to the farmer who harvested it. “We want customers to know the region, cultivar, producer, harvest, and milling method behind what they are drinking,” says Muracha co-founder Katie Roth. “In specialty coffee or wine, those details are often central to the experience. Matcha has not always been presented with the same level of clarity, so we saw an opportunity to make the craft and provenance more visible.”
