Van Heertum Design VHD’s packaging for Øl’søn Green Gin plays with symmetry and restraint in all the right ways. The crisp, white label wraps the emerald glass in an X-shaped embrace, slicing across the bottle. Subtle embossing and fine serif typography add just enough character without distracting from the sculptural green glow. The wood-textured cap tops it off with a tactile finish, giving the gin a handcrafted edge.

Innovation isn’t always about inventing something new. Sometimes it’s about rethinking what already exists and giving it infinite purpose. Øl’søn (Gothic Angels Distillery, Poland) returns with a unique Green Gin and as you may remember, our award-winning design for the first series was based on mathematical label shaping. So naturally, the challenge this time was to create something equally striking, while staying true to the brand’s heritage.
For this new edition, we took it one step further, merging design, sustainability, and Øl’søn’s gaming heritage into one unified concept. Quite literally shaped like an infinity symbol.

Infinity Label — Circular Inside and Out
No separate front and back labels. Instead, the entire design loops around the bottle as a continuous infinity shape a seamless tribute to circular thinking. Alongside the sustainable material choices, we created an illustration system to express flavour notes and storytelling elements across the label.

Sustainable Materials Throughout
A Cap with a Twist
The cork is more than just a closure. Each one is branded with either an X or an O on the inside burned directly into the cork. Collect them, and you’ll have your own Tic-Tac-Toe set. As a bonus, the branding process adds a subtle smoked note to the gin itself.
A taste that lasts and materials that live on.
