Dry January can be a challenge, especially when an all-or-nothing approach to alcohol can feel harder to maintain than simply cutting back. This is the idea behind Damp February, a not-quite as punishing challenge more focused on encouraging moderation than abstinence. Maybe not drinking so much felt good, but it’s still nice to have room for the occasional happy hour. While the benefits of drinking less are hard to argue, the beer industry has been so on fire with their design for years that the aesthetes among us might be a little less excited about non-alcoholic options. Fortunately, as the market for low and non-alcoholic beverages expands, so do the great-looking options for drinks. Artist Briony Douglas and stylish sparkling water company Barbet targeted this exact audience with made a gorgeous design for the brand’s flavor Love Bite, a breezy, seasonally appropriate combination of grapefruit, ginger, and juniper. The results are stellar enough to get lost in—soberly, of course!

“For me happiness lies in being unapologetically authentic to yourself in a world where everyone wants to put you in a box. The Barbet can drop was inspired by just that, the beauty in being different and unique, with nothing to hide. This artwork demonstrates inclusivity in a society that wants you to conform, the beauty in being different and the comfort in knowing we all have a seat at the table. For me the feeling of belonging comes from being accepted with all my quirks and that is what I am trying to show through this.”
