Here is the only piece of math that matters: every deadline between now and February costs more than this one. Rates move in one direction. July is the lowest rate anyone will see again this cycle.
What’s New for 2027
This is the biggest structural update to the competition in years:
- Five new categories, including expanded Beauty, Health, Food, and Beverage subcategories, so more work has a right answer for where it belongs.
- A restructured Concept track with its own jury and place-and-merit recognition at every level.
- The iF DESIGN AWARD partnership: DIELINE winners receive free entry into iF DESIGN AWARD 2027 plus automatic advancement to the second jury round. That is a $1,000+ value, and it exists only for DIELINE winners. One entry puts two of the industry’s most respected awards in play.
