Nearly every shampoo out there has two things in common; they contain water and get shipped in plastic bottles.

It’s not hard to see why. Paper cartons aren’t ideal for bathroom storage, and glass is heavy and dangerous if broken in the shower. Plus, liquid shampoo is easy to apply. But these conveniences come at a price, chiefly in the form of plastic and additional greenhouse emissions that come from shipping a lot of water around.
