While coffee’s been fairly corporate for most of the past few decades, it wasn’t always so immediately associated with work and productivity. In the early 20th century, cafés were intellectual salons that attracted artists, poets, and even revolutionaries, like Federico Garcia Lorca, who could be labeled as all three.
The Turkish coffee brand Garcia Coffee honors the late poet’s legacy with elegant, art museum-ready branding by Mohammed Dorgam. Each pouch evokes the feeling of standing in front of a painting, with cerebral, abstract art taking the spotlight above simple text descriptions of the coffee’s flavor profile— a perfect way to get those creative juices flowing.
