Can design continues its incredible hot streak with Brandon Pieces‘ extremely charismatic design for a collaboration between Spanish soft drink brands Zumino and Fuzz. Their spicy apple soda Manzanas en Stereo is full of life, covered in vibrant, fun illustrations with a tart kiki energy.

While another recent kombucha design reminded me more indirectly of Keith Haring, this can’s connection to the beloved queer artist feels intentional. Sound waves and the flavor’s titular apple wiggle throughout the design while jubilant shadows dance to (of course) Apples in Stereo. The logomark’s eclectic, cartoony typography keeps the late 20th century weirdo artist energy flowing with jagged edges and bright colors reminiscent of Rocko’s Modern Life or the work of iconic animator Sally Cruikshank.
