The Fly Behind the Ear And Its Enchanting Nature

Miguel Díez’s packaging design for The Fly Behind the Ear wine complements this Ribera del Duero red oak. The name “The Fly Behind the Ear,” was chosen to captivate customers, leaving them intrigued when presented by the sommelier. The packaging’s unique charm is further enhanced by an illustration on the back of a woman’s head in black and white, with her hair simulated using Avery Dennison’s Fasson Fibers Look paper. With thick polyester and cellulose fibers embedded randomly, this choice adds depth and texture to the design. To create a striking contrast with the bottle’s dark aesthetics, a small, shiny gold-stamped fly silhouette is positioned just behind the ear, making the packaging design enchantingly memorable.
