Just because soap has always been a bland blob of a shape doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. Student designer Tanya Dunaeva realized this and created Slimy Man Soap, an environmentally friendly soap bar designed to inspire young kids to continuously wash their hands because we all know they need a little reminder sometimes.
The genderless soap character comes in a range of neutral colors and the sweetest little googly eyes that give it a massive personality. The packaging itself highlights the shape of the soap, and choosing the thin cursive font allows this character to become more soft and approachable than overbearing. I’m not a child, nor do I need a reminder to wash my hands, but this soap man is too cute for me not to want one by all the sinks in my home.
