The design concept for Plau Distillery by Eleanor Spickett pays homage to gin’s arrival in England.
The orange-hued bottles feature a picture of William III in the shape of an orange, while the illustrated blue leaves on the bottle are a beautiful call back to the spirit’s box, which is also the same shade of blue. The bottle looks luxurious while also feeling accessible and would be welcome on any bar or liquor cabinet.
William III, the Dutch sovereign “Prince of Orange,” is credited with introducing gin to England during his reign with Mary II.
