House plants have always been popular, but during COVID, when we were stuck inside, keeping plants around our spaces not only created a personal oasis but they created a fun activity. Sowvital is a plant care brand invented because of this COVID houseplant resurgence. The result is an exquisitely designed line with packaging so sleek it’s unlike anything else on the market.
“Our packaging draws on traditional cosmetic codes: droppers and spritzes: tactile instruments we are all familiar with when dispensing hyaluronic acid or a vitamin C face mist, stated Jack Lewis, founder of Sowvital, “When constructing the brand’s visual world with Leslie David (famed for designing the visual identity of Glossier), we worked to craft a visual language which both celebrated the scientific roots of the product, but also made it highly apt for display in a chic Parisian apartment.”
The outer box is sleek with an almost editorial aesthetic, with a white backdrop, varying typography, and refined gradient detailing. The box has robust bottles, featuring a fitting green tone and a similar label design to the outer box. The packaging design is highly consistent, beautifully executed, and creates a new design standard for plant products.
