The abstract designs belie Les Bacchantes’ winemaker’s previous career as a business analyst. Although the wine’s origins are seen in little details such as as the names of inventory codes.
“A business analyst turned winemaker will inevitably keep their logical side. They’ll calculate their vines in kilometers, follow the advice of their oenologist rigorously and optimise everything to offer the best possible product. That involves including numbers everywhere, even in the product names. No need to look too far when the inventory codes are that inspiring: R1 (première rouge meaning first red in french) or B2 (deuxième blanc meaning second white in french).”
