Mou Dasgupta, the founder of premium tea brand Brook37, was inspired to start the company after realizing that the best teas from the Darjeeling region she grew up in were not making their way to the US, her new home. But she also saw it as a means to provide women in the region with economic opportunities.

And so, the upscale tea brand was released into the wild with beautiful packaging, to boot. Branding and packaging designed by studio Butterfly Cannon center on the tea leaf. The wordmark uses an elegant typeface that reinforces Brook37’s premium quality and has a leaf shoot from one of the “Os.” Tea leaves are also embossed on the metal tea caddies, and the leaf graphic from the logo sits in the center of the lid. What’s more, the embossing gives the brand identity a luxe feel.
