Single-use plastic is largely being substituted by sustainable solutions made from renewable raw materials. However, there are still areas where sustainable packaging solutions need to be pushed even further, such as in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. The use of plastic as a packaging solution for over-the-counter medicines is widespread and almost the norm.
Our tablet paper blister is made from renewable fiber raw materials, which means it is more environmentally friendly and resource-saving than plastic blisters, as no fossil raw materials are used. Especially since greenhouse gas emissions from the extraction and processing of fossil raw materials are also eliminated.
