Ocean Pasta's Packaging Aims To Raise Awareness Of Plastics In The Ocean
by Chloe Gordon on 01/04/2022 | 1 Minute Read
In 2019 the carcass of a 3-month-old whale was found on the Philippine beach with over 40kg of plastic in its stomach. This would not be the last case since there are up to 12.7 million tons of plastic enters our oceans each year.
This packaging design aims to raise the awareness of ocean plastic wastes and promote sustainable living. The cut-out on the cap can help measure one serve of pasta for each meal. The generic box with a whale shape can be reused as a storage box for plastic bags. The whole packaging is made from molded bagasse fiber which is 100% biodegradable.
