Artist and designer Shrishti Vajpai created the sustainable packaging system for conceptual brand Foodery. While sustainable packaging is lovely in and of itself, often it lacks a wholesome and friendly design. Shrishti’s design flips that notion on its head through the gorgeously packaged concepts she created.
The illustrations are colorful, textured, and organic, and the materials she implemented in the design are either reusable or biodegradable. Choosing to implement more vivid colors and pairing them with the natural textures of the materials creates a beautiful juxtaposition of whimsical environmentalism. Not to mention, the typography is wholly understated to allow the illustrations to take over in the best possible way.
