Kit Kat Partners With Pastry Chef Yasumasa Takagi To Create 14 Drool-Worthy Flavors
by Chloe Gordon on 03/30/2021 | 2 Minute Read
The famous chocolate bar brand and giver-of-breaks Kit Kat has teamed up with Yasumasa Takagi, the executive pastry chef and Le Patissier Takagi owner in Tokyo. This collaboration has resulted in 14 drool-worthy flavors ranging from Passion Fruit to Matcha to Raw Chocolate to Volcanic Series, and more.
Adding even more of a twist, each lavish Kit Kat is singularly-packaged inside a luxurious and contemporary box decorated with color-coordinated designs to match the flavors of each tasty chocolate. You’ll find the Raspberry nestled inside a bright blue box with an oversized raspberry graphic that makes an impact, and the Sublime White is in a creamy yellow with gold foil text and graphics.
Other wilding-out flavors include Volcanic Series Vanuatu, Volcanic Series Papua New Guinea, Volcanic Series Philippines, Yuzu, Passion Fruit, Cassis, Strawberry, Matcha, Raw Chocolate, Bitter Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and Ruby Chocolate.
If this Kit Kat release proves anything, it’s that the brand can be both luxurious and adventurous in a way that feels genuinely authentic. If your sweet tooth is all hot and bothered, the collection is only available from March 31 until May 2, and you can find it at a Kit Kat Chocolatory pop-up in Causeway Bay, all City’super locations, a few LOG-ON stores, and on Nestle’s Hong Kong web store. If you purchase five bars, you’ll also be eligible to buy the limited-edition ceramic cup and wooden plate set, so get shopping.
